THIS, my friends, is the show that covers the best of the UK Mercury Prize Short list..

Many I have played for you (some extensively) back in ’09 (eg, Dizzee) when some of the CDs came out, and some (like Foals), which just released theirs, I’ve been playing regularly lately. And some, forlornly (..is that *even a freakin’ word?) I’ve omitted, such as Biffy Clyro from Scotland. Yes, an oversight. But one I’ve addressed by playing them today and will cover a bit more in future shows. ….and hey, anyways… they’re not gonna win so…

MY winner of this L20,000 prize (hey, nothing to shake a stick at if you’re just starting out in the biz) is…. well, you’ll find out when you listen to the podcast… Enjoy it!
